We are always getting ready to live but never living – Ralph Waldo Emerson

These days, I’m feeling really, really, REALLY lucky. And happy. And fulfilled.

Because these days, I’m not only living the life I’ve built the last 31 years, but now there’s this other part – this part I kept thinking about and talking about and planning for – and now it’s here. And I am living it. Top to bottom, side to side.

You are an inspiration for everyone Paula! Tackling a new life experience can be so daunting and scared, yet you make it sound so exciting.

I think the fact that it is something I’ve wanted to do for so long helps a lot. I have felt scared – right before my last midterm I was pretty worried. At the end of it, and especially over the last few days, I reconciled myself to the fact that I won’t do as well I as want to all the time, but I will be learning and growing and experiencing something that many others do not get the opportunity to do. That is what takes the edge right off!
Thanks for your support now and always!
