I’m just 6 days from my half marathon walk. My goal is personal best time – which means 21.1 km in under 2:54.
The race in which I achieved that time was 6 years ago, prior to my meeting up with some mighty tough munchkins who landed some serious kicks to my knees. (Well, and I WAS six years younger…..)
So, I’m still aiming for that goal, though if my knees decide that goal is too lofty, “just finish” will be equally acceptable!
